Inspired by the new ending. I had to.
A sketch for some AU thing I’m sorta planning to write (“sorta” because I’m lazy and this thing quickly evolved from some random idea I had to a pretty gigantic plot).
Ash and Misty never meet on the first day of Ash’s journey and both end up joining Team Rocket for separate reasons (Ash is trying to find out something about his father, who disappeared without a trace years ago, and Misty… it’s complicated, but apparently “someone” has big plans for her), and are assigned as each other’s partner. And they don’t like each other at all, at first, but after a while things start to get better—and also worse, because everything turns out to be a lot more scary and dangerous than they expected.

Idk, I felt like trying something with colors (I was trying to go for some painterly effect… this doesn’t look at all like what I was thinking but I still quite like it). Colored version of this.
Ash won a league and decided to go training on Mt. Silver for a while. Eventually Misty went looking for him — and found him half frozen to death in a cave.

Ash finally won a league and decided to spend some time training on Mt. Silver. But he’s, well, not exactly the brightes bulb in the box, so after not hearing from him in a while Misty starts to worry and decides to go look for him. And it’s a good thing she does because she finds him half dead from the cold.
(He’s going to be fine, though. Also I just realized that half of the times I draw Ash he’s either unconscious, beaten up or dead. Sorry baby you know I love you.)

I hadn’t drawn anything in forever.
But I had this cool dream a couple nights ago that involved Ash and Misty and Team Plasma. Ash and Misty had somehow ran into the bad guys (I have no idea what Misty was doing there—guess she was visiting Ash in Unova) and I assume they tried to stop them but Ghetsis beat Ash to near-death with some pokémon and then left him and Misty locked in a cell somewhere. Until N sneaked in and took Ash and brought him to Anthea and Concordia who somehow saved him.
(Misty has no idea who this weird guy is, and doesn’t particularly trust him.)
This blog is always super depressing so here have something cute for a change.
